In collaboration with Al.eF Photonics, the Research and Development Center of Mechatronics - RDCM - from University Politehnica of Bucharest offers consulting in Mechatronics. RDCM was established in 1994 with support from World Bank and National University Research Council of Romania and participant on European Union's programs Tempus, Copernicus and Socrates. RDCM signed collaboration protocols with Universities from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, and Poland. The development process, starting with Modeling and Virtual Prototyping and ending with Physical Prototyping and Manufacturing, is accomplished on three laboratories:

  • 3D CAD and Simulation Laboratory. RDCM employs Catia 5 as 3D CAD platform and performs simulation and virtual prototyping on Femlab and LabView.
  • Physical Prototyping Laboratory. RDCM uses ACRA CNC Flexible Manufacturing Center, Chemical Etching Center and other advanced equipment.
  • System Test Laboratory. Equipment employed includes Stanford Research Signal Analyzers, Mechanical, Thermal, Electrical, Sound and Vibration Test Instrumentation.
